MTV Networks and software company Rapt Inc. last week announced an agreement to license Rapt's media monetization platform across MTVN's U.S.-based online properties. Under the agreement, Rapt will
deploy its proprietary applications to deliver pricing and inventory controls, analytic infrastructure, and data-driven decision support for MTVN. Rapt's media monetization applications are employed
by a number of Internet heavyweights, including Yahoo, Microsoft, NBC Universal, and Dow Jones & Company, among others.
