The artists' work will also be posted at, with links to other popular internet sites such as MySpace and YouTube.

The artists, all between the ages of 22 and 30, applied for the "positions" through an ad posted by Red Truck Wines on The six are divided into two groups of three people each. Each group will travel together, one going from Boston to San Francisco and one from San Francisco to Boston. The groups have not been given an itinerary and instead are plotting their own routes, which viewers will be able to follow on Red Truck Wine's website. They are expected to arrive at their destinations on Wednesday, Aug. 1.

Following their 30-day trips, each group of artists will develop a multi-media presentation about their experiences on the road. These "performance art" pieces will be shown in San Francisco at a venue and time to be determined.
