MetaCafe, Universal Pictures Team For Bourne Mashup Trailers

MetaCafe said its users have created more than 1,000 mashup trailers for "The Bourne Ultimatum" since the video site's launch of a dedicated channel for the new film on July 23. The channel--created in partnership with Universal Pictures, through Universal's online agency Ignited--includes Diffuse Media Group's Video Mashup Maker that enable users to combine film clips, music tracks and special effects for their customized trailers.

User efforts that are top-rated, most views and most recent are being showcased on the channel throughout August. The feature film, starring Matt Damon, opens Friday.
