18 Million Watch 'Bachelor'

Last Thursday’s season finale of ABC's "The Bachelor" drew the highest ratings of its six-episode run, as some 18.1 million people tuned in to see which bachelorette would get the ring. The hyped reality series came in second in its time slot to CBS' "CSI: Crime Scene Investigation," which drew 23.4 million viewers Thursday night, according to Nielsen Media Research. Reportedly, the struggling ABC is casting for a second rendition of "The Bachelor," as well as a new "Bachelorette" version for next season, all in an effort to fill a hole left by the rapidly-fading "Who Wants to Be a Millionaire."
