Arthur Bijur, president and executive creative director for Cliff Freeman & Partners, and Jim Ferguson, president and chief creative officer for Y&R, New York, will serve as chief judges for the 2003
Radio-Mercury Awards, at the June 19 luncheon in New York City. Both men have also recently accepted seats on the Board of Directors of the Radio Creative Fund, the governing body of the Mercury
Awards. Bijur is responsible for helping make many brands famous, as well as successful, including Little Caesars, Wendy’s and Staples. Bijur is one of the founding partners of Cliff Freeman &
Partners, which has won five Radio-Mercury awards, including twice winning the $100,000 Grand Prize. The Radio-Mercury Awards were established in 1992 to encourage and reward the creative radio
commercials.
