Digital content services company ExtendMedia announced the appointment of former AOL executive Tom MacIsaac to the company's board of directors.

MacIsaac is currently the President of Cove Street Partners, a boutique investment and advisory firm working with entrepreneurs and investors to create and build Internet software, digital media and advertising companies.

Previously, MacIsaac served as senior vice president of strategy and corporate development for AOL's Advertising.com division. There, he was responsible for strategic planning, M&A and strategic business development.

Prior to AOL, he held several high-level positions at digital media and advertising companies such as Lightningcast, Inc. and Backwire, Inc.

ExtendMedia's present customers include NBC, SanDisk, and Showtime.
