The History Channel plans a series called Mouthpiece: Voice for the Accused, a four-part look at the lawyers who represented some of America's most notorious criminals. The four-part, four-hour
miniseries recounts the stories of how criminal defense attorneys kept their clients out of jail and examines the appeal and pitfalls of taking on these high-profile clients. The miniseries will
premiere at 9 p.m. June 17-20 on The History Channel. Criminal defense attorney Bruce Cutler is the host.
The series chronicles the careers of criminal defense attorneys Frank Ragano, Samuel
Leibowitz, James LaRossa and Robert Simone. Each episode shows how they acquired their clients and details their courtroom tactics and strategies against government prosecutors. Archival footage,
dramatizations and interviews will be employed.
