HBO has announced the launch of a Spanish-only network, HBO Latino. The new channel will begin airing on Sept. 18 in about 1 million households in New York, Los Angeles, Miami, Chicago, San Antonio,
Phoenix, Houston, San Diego and El Paso, Texas. The network, which has been in development for over two years, is launching in approximately 20 percent of Hispanic cable homes.
