Jim Caparro, founder of Island DefJam Music Group, has joined Brand Asset Digital's Board of Advisors.

Caparro brings 25 years of experience to the New York City and Pensacola, Fla.-based company, which focuses on P2P search marketing and LIVE streaming technology. He founded New York-based EDC Entertainment Distribution Co. in 2004, which provides supply chain services to music, movies and gaming companies. After founding Island DefJam Music Group in 1998, he served as the group's chairman and CEO from 1999 to 2001.

Prior to DefJam, Caparro created PolyGram Group Distribution and also served as president and CEO of Atari. --Laurie Sullivan
