broadcastspots.com Announces Additional Options for Stations

  • September 13, 2000
broadcastspots.com has announced a restructuring of its affiliation agreements to provide stations with additional options. Effective immediately, current long-term Exclusive Affiliates of broadcastspots.com will receive a substantial reduction in commission rate. Rates will also be tiered according to market size. In addition, broadcastspots.com will now offer a second means by which stations can use the company's services. The new "Membership" agreement will allow stations to load inventory on an as-needed, non-exclusive basis. Commission rates for Members will be higher than those for Affiliates, but will also be commensurate with market size. According to John Cravens, SVP of broadcastspots.com, this system will address stations that might have more immediate short-term needs. It will also make it easier for individual group-owned stations to participate without the participation of their entire group.
