ABC is putting the finishing touches on its controversial show, "Homeland Security USA." The new reality series will track U.S. border guards as they trying to stop people from sneaking into
the country, sometimes with contraband.
It is a show like "Cops," that focuses entirely on "one of the hottest of hot-button issues in the country." Early episodes show drug
smugglers in Washington State and undocumented workers lost in the Arizona desert. Critics are labeling the show, which debuts Jan. 6, as propaganda.
Executive producer Arnold Shapiro acknowledges the show will paint the Dept. of Homeland Security in a positive light. "I love investigative journalism, but that's not what we're doing. This show is heartening. It makes you feel good about these people who are doing their best to protect us," he says.

So Critics call showing BP agents enforcing the law is "propaganda" ! What a load of stinky BS! This needs to be seen in every household around the country! Illegal Aliens need to watch it also!
I cannot wait for the first run of this program! Can you say, "Get the popcorn" and draw up a chair?
Our BP agents deserve a program that shows the dangerous work they all do for little pay, and the threat of going to jail for enforcing the laws of the land.
America wants stronger border enforcement, and maybe this will help make it come true to those Americans who just see it as a Border State issue, or it is not in their back yard yet!
Maybe these so called Critics need a wake up call!
