Business owners who want to grow their mom-and-pop company need to think bigger. Stoney deGeyter suggests starting by redesigning the company's online marketing campaign. Small companies have an
advantage over many big businesses in that they can easily change direction, as in a paid search campaign.
DeGeyter provides some advice on thinking big while taking advantage of being
small. "A small business does not have to spend $10,000 per month in order to do well online," deGeyter writes. "Most small businesses, even if they had such a budget, are not set up to handle the
same kind of success as large businesses."
