Chrysler's full-sized pickup, Ram, could have little brothers. Chrysler Group is looking at two new multipurpose haulers in the future to replace the Dakota -- which ceases production at the end of the third quarter -- and for Jeep.

The Dakota replacement is set to hit the market next year as a 2013 model, according to Fred Diaz, head of the Ram brand. The replacement, which will not carry the "Dakota" name, will be a unibody, or car-based vehicle, rather than traditional body-on-frame truck, according to Diaz.

Jeep CEO Sergio Marchionne said people should look for the 2005 Gladiator concept truck for a hint at what the new Jeep pickup might look like. It would be based on the Jeep Wrangler.
