An amalgamated class action suit in a California court said the company misled consumers about the cereal. Originally the company stood by its claims that Rice Krispies boosted kids' immunity because
of its vitamin and antioxidant content, but now has agreed to settle to avoid a long litigation. The company also settled last November over attention-boosting claims for Frosted Mini-Wheats.
