Die-hard music fans want to be ahead of the curve when discovering artists on the rise. The MTV Music Meter helps make that happen. The app lists the top 100 buzzed-about artists based on content found online from fans, writers, and the artists themselves. Once an artist is selected, fans can watch music videos, stream previews of songs, read bios, find concert dates, and share content with friends. In addition to the “Up & Coming” option, users can view artist rankings based on genres, including rock, hip-hop, indie, electronic, and mainstream.
