Aereo Introduces New Pricing

Aereo, the over-the-top TV startup, has a new price structure. The news comes weeks after its legal victory over major TV broadcasters. The service is now being offered at different $8 and $12 monthly plans, or an $80 annual plan, or a $1 daily pass, says The Hollywood Reporter. Aereo's backers include IAC's Barry Diller.  In addition, the company is allowing consumers, so far only in New York City, the ability to try out Aereo free each day for one hour. Aereo hopes better pricing, and a free look, will up the numbers, presently at 3,500 customers.
