Strong auto sales in November got help from Black Friday sales promotions, and rising incentives. "Black Friday did give us a lift," said Bill Perkins, president of Chevrolet dealerships in Michigan. Automakers said November's incentive increases were concentrated late in the month, mainly for Black Friday promotions, which have become a staple of the auto business as much as they are at department stores and other retail outlets.
