Google Gets 60,000 Web Link Removal Requests Based On EU Ruling

Britons have asked Google to remove more than 60,000 Web links from its search engine queries under the "right to be forgotten" ruling the European court ruled in May. Some 18,304 requests were made from U.K. residents, compared with 145,000 appeals across Europe by individuals wanting links removed. The European court ruled that links to irrelevant and outdated data should be removed from searches in the EU based on specific request.
