Apple Music To Launch Later Today, According To Sony Music CEO

Apple is to announce its long-anticipated music streaming service today at the Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) in San Francisco. At least that’s according to Sony Music CEO Doug Morris, speaking in an on-stage interview at music industry event MIDEM. In order to launch such a service, Apple would need to make deals with all of the major record labels - including Sony Music - so Morris’s comments are likely to be very reliable. "It's happening tomorrow," Morris said at the event in Cannes yesterday.
