Actor/comedian Rob Riggle is back for IHG’s Holiday Inn Express, only this time he is lauding the in-room coffee, Keurig K130 brewers in every room.
Launched on Wednesday, the campaign is a series of humorous, never-before-seen campaign spots, ideated by lead creative agency Ogilvy & Mather, and will run through May in digital and paid social.
In May, new creative featuring Riggle will launch with a national TV buy, and will continue to roll out over the summer and fall. The brand’s campaign efforts are all about reaching its “Smart Traveler” target of Millennial business and leisure travelers.
The new Keurig brewers are the first of several contributions from Riggle to follow in the coming months.
Riggle is collaborating with the brand to contribute fresh ideas for how travelers experience the Holiday Inn Express brand promise, which will be introduced in the months ahead. Riggle’s contributions will be featured on holidayinnexpress.com as well as the Holiday Inn Express brand’s YouTube, Instagram, Twitter and Facebook pages.
