What Can Speech Patterns Tell Us About Presidential Candidates

Presidential candidates have spoken more than 300,000 words in 20 televised debates since August. Language experts have pulled the transcripts apart and analyzed the frequency and variety of words used. The results show that Clinton is the most optimistic candidate, Cruz and Sanders are the most self-certain, and Trump is a “contradictory ball of confidence and insecurity.”
