REVOLVING DOOR: Droga5 New York Ups Pair To Co-Heads Of Strategy

Droga5 New York promoted Colm Murphy and Harry Roman-Torres to co-heads of strategy. Both were previously group strategy directors. The appointments come as Chet Gulland, current head of strategy, plans to leave the agency at the end of May after six years. Murphy has been with Droga5 for two years, working on Chase, Georgia-Pacific and Dun & Bradstreet. Prior to Droga5, he ran the Rolex and Puma accounts at JWT New York. Roman-Torres first joined Droga5 in 2008. He left the agency for stints at Leo Burnett New York and Google before returning to Droga5. He most recently worked on NRG, SheaMoisture and Under Armour. "We are excited to double down on leadership with two of the kindest, most creative and capable people in the industry," said Jonny Bauer, global chief strategy officer.
