Auto Sales Slow In April

Sales fell for six out of the eight top-selling automakers in the United States. Total U.S. sales fell 4.7% in April to 1.43 million, marking the fourth consecutive monthly decline. Automakers also must continue to manage declining demand for cars as consumers continue to flock to SUVs. Companies have already resorted to upping incentives as they try to keep a lid on inventory.
