Trump Asks High Court To Intervene In Microsoft Email Case

The battle between the Trump administration and Microsoft over email privacy is now before the Supreme Court. In June, POTUS asked SCOTUS to intervene. Microsoft had resisted a warrant for an email account held on a server in Ireland, but a federal appeals court agreed that the emails were beyond the warrant’s reach, ABC News reports. The account holder had been suspected of drug trafficking.
