Lawyer Says He Missed Deposition Because Email Went Into Spam Folder

A Wisconsin lawyer said he and his client missed a deposition because the email notice went to his spam folder. In explaining his absence to a federal court, lawyer Stan Davis argued that throwing out the case—that of former wrestling coach Timothy Fader against the University of Wisconsin – was “too draconian.”
