State AGs Urge High Court To Review Data Access Decision

Almost three dozen State Attorneys General have asked the Supreme Court to review a lower court’s decision blocking the federal government from accessing consumer data stored overseas by companies such as Microsoft. The coalition argues that the ruling unfairly allows businesses to dodge their responsibility to cooperate in criminal investigations.
