Ad Age Beefs Up Media Beat

Advertising Age Wednesday said it was adding three editorial positions to bolster its coverage of media. Nat Ives has joined the ad trade magazine as a media reporter covering the publishing industry and corporate media strategies. Ives, who was an advertising and media reporter at The New York Times, succeeds Jon Fine who left to become a media columnist for BusinessWeek magazine. Simon Dumenco, a well-known media reporter who has written for Details and New York magazine, will become a contributing editor and will pen a new weekly media column that will be introduced in the print and online editions of Ad Age in late June. Greg Lindsay, former media editor at Women's Wear Daily, will also become a contributing editor focused primarily on the intersection of popular culture and marketing.
