Brandtech Group Taps Dentsu Veteran As Its First Chief Growth Officer

The Brandtech Group has hired Linsey Loy as its first Chief Growth Officer. The move comes after a period of strong organic revenue growth over the last two years, including 50% growth last year and 27% in 2020. 

Loy will join The Brandtech Group’s partner lineup, more than half of whom are women.  The group formerly known as You & Mr Jones now has 18 partners and associate partners alongside founder and CEO, David Jones. It changed its name earlier this year.

Loy will be based at the group’s headquarters in New York arrives from Dentsu where she spent more than six years, most recently as senior vice president/head of growth at Dentsu's global media agency, iProspect.  She previously served at Merkle, also part of Dentsu.

Prior to Dentsu, Loy worked at  Deutsch and TBWA\Chiat\Day, where she led the team that won the TD Bank and Intel Business accounts.

The company was started by Jones in 2015 and has grown quickly in a short time, with over 5,000 employees and more than $500 million in revenue in 2021. 

The company owns several specialist firms offering various marketing services to brands. Oliver, for example advises brands on in-housing advertising and marketing functions.

It also provides marketing technology and data services through like firm’s like DP6, which it acquired a majority stake in last fall to bulk up its LATAM offering.

Last spring the firm hired former Mindshare CEO Nick Emery to start media division to better assist brands in that sector.

The group has also been heavily committed to the metaverse with early investments in companies like AR gaming and metaverse pioneer, Niantic, which is now valued at $9 billion, as well as, among others, a 2018 investment in the AI Foundation, which builds metahumans.
