Fathom Online on Monday promoted Jay Webster, the company's chief technology officer, to the post of president-chief technology officer. The privately held search engine marketing company said Webster
would assume day-to-day management activities, as well as oversee research and development of its data management systems and the advancement of its products and services. Chris Raniere, co-founder of
Fathom, along with Chris Churchill, will retain the title chief operating officer and will work closely with Webster; Churchill remains chairman-CEO.
