New Rivals May Challenge Murdoch For WSJ

Several potential rivals may challenge Rupert Murdoch for The Wall Street Journal. Several billionaires, including Ron Burkle, were approached by the Dow Jones union--but a new player has entered, Brian Tierney, who suggested he would pay as much as Murdoch for the property. Tierney already owns The Philadelphia Inquirer and Philadelphia Daily News.
