Thanks to strong results from its media networks, including MTV Networks, Viacom this morning reported a 24% increase in third quarter revenues to $3.27 billion. Operating income in the third quarter
rose 25% to $815 million. Net earnings from continuing operations for the quarter increased 27% to $450 million. Viacom said worldwide advertising revenues increased 7% to $1.18 billion.
