Bob Hope Tribute to Re-Air May 29

NBC will re-broadcast the Bob Hope tribute, "100 Years of Hope and Humor" on Sunday, May 25 (7-9pm ET) just in time for Hope's 100th birthday on May 29.

Jane Pauley hosts the special, which documents the best moments of Hope's legendary career, including everything from his Vaudeville years to Broadway, radio, film, television and entertaining the troops.

Special guest appearances include: Alan Alda, Woody Allen, Sean Astin, Mel Brooks, Drew Carey, Michael Chiklis, Bob Costas, Phyllis Diller, Harvey Fierstein, Brad Garrett, Kelsey Grammer, Dennis Haysbert, Allison Janney, Jack Jones, Alan King, Michele Lee, Jay Leno, Bernie Mac, Steve Martin, Eric McCormack, Jack Nicklaus, Conan O'Brien, Arnold Palmer, Don Rickles, LeAnn Rimes, Joan Rivers, Ray Romano, Jane Russell, Brooke Shields, Martin Short, John Spencer, Lee Trevino, Steve Valentine, Bruce Vilanch, Barbara Walters, Raquel Welch, Oprah Winfrey and Tiger Woods.

Hope's long-running association with NBC began in 1937 with radio and 1950 in television, which resulted in 284 primetime comedy-variety specials. The special originally aired on Sunday, April 19 and drew 16 million viewers, making it number one among total viewers, households and women 25-54.
