ComScore's Q1 Revenue Up 41%

ComScore's revenue grew 41% in the first quarter to a record $26.4 million, exceeding the company's earlier forecast of $25.9 million to $26.2 million. Pre-tax net income rose165% to $4.2 million, deferred revenue balance increased 46%, net income grew 64%, and adjusted EBITDA 104% to $5.6 million.

The company said it added 53 customers in the quarter for a total of 948, and had a subscription renewal rate of 93%. Revenue from its existing customers grew 38%, to $22.1 million.

During the quarter, comScore launched Ad Metrix-Advertiser View and the second generation of its Plan Metrix.

ComScore is now forecasting full-year 2008 revenue of approximately $113.0 million to $113.6 million--30% over 2007. The company had earlier projected full-year revenue between $112.2 million and $113.2 million.
