William "Bill" Benz, a long-time media and advertising research executive for Anheuser-Busch has passed away. He was 80. Benz, who retired from the advertising and media research industry in 1991, had
most recently been vice president-general manager of the St. Louis office of Anheuser-Busch's in-house Busch Media Group. Prior to that, he was senior vice president of the media information and
research division of then Anheuser-Busch agency D'Arcy Masius Benton & Bowles' St. Louis office, and worked for The Associated Brewing Co. throughout the Midwest.
