You'll never guess who signed up to follow my Twitter ramblings yesterday, a few weeks after I signed up for his.

T. Boone Pickens.

Trouble is, though, I'd twitted, er tweeted, nary a character - ever -- though I'd acquired 11 reciprocating followers over a short time.

I took T. Boone's interest as a sign, however, and sent out my first tweet . I asked if anyone could tell me what John Ashbery's "Infomercial 2" (see above) means.

No one has responded (sob).
