    Nielsen//NetRatings today released its Global Internet Index for January, finding that the unique audiences for Google, Ask Jeeves, and European directory, portal and service provider Wanadoo showed the biggest percentage increases last month among the top 25 global properties, jumping 12 to 13% over December.

Not surprisingly, the study revealed that approximately nine million consumers who have ever listened to Internet audio would be willing to pay a small fee to listen to the one audio channel they listen to most online.

According to the announcement, it is a third-party service that measures and analyzes online advertising and marketing campaigns in real time.

    The first and most important day of the AAAA media conference began today with Conference Chair Allen Banks outlining some of the most pressing issues facing the advertising industry, such as clutter and inaccurate data. While Banks offered no immediate solutions, he did introduce the morning’s keynote speaker: AOL Time Warner’s Bob Pittman, who gave the audience a basic overview of the Internet’s power as a Customer Relationship Management tool.
