A Forbes.com essay--posted, taken down and then repackaged in less than two days--has once again shown that Web users can influence the mainstream media. At the same time, it also shows that the MSM can react quickly to online critics, but continues to be slow when it comes to interacting--or, in this case, explaining to readers why an article has gone missing from the archives.
