Mazda North American Operations has confirmed that it is in “contract negotiations” with a major agency holding company – WPP Group – to handle its account. The move follows an
extensive review, and incumbent Doner’s announcement earlier today that it was parting with the auto marketer.
WPP has handled Mazda Motor Europe for more than 12 years, and will now be
responsible for the U.S., Canada and Mexico, as well.
