Internet Pictures Corporation and Los Angeles Times Interactive announced the launch of the iPIX classified advertising imaging solution and integration with L.A Times' Recycler.com. The availability
of iPIX's Rimfire services on Recycler.com changes the traditionally labor-intensive or non-existent process of adding photos and other rich media to classified ads. Recycler.com previously only
accepted photos for classified ads by mail, email or FTP. Each photo was then hand processed, adding additional time before the ad could appear online. Using Rimfire technology, businesses and
consumers now have the option of instantly adding up to four photos with their classified ads on the Recycler.com site.
