Nissan North America Inc. is bringing the Nissan Leaf electric car to 26 U.S. cities. The "Drive Electric Tour," which began last fall, is on its second leg, starting at Jones Beach on Long Island
this weekend. Nissan says that since launching the vehicle in December 2010, the automaker has delivered more than 4,000 Leafs in the United States. The car is available in Arizona, California,
Hawaii, Tennessee, Texas, Oregon and Washington, with additional markets launching later this year. To date, more than 350,000 people have expressed interest in the car, according to Nissan.
