The New York Daily News has a new unit -- Digital Solutions Division -- that will sell Web site, mobile Web site design, SEM,video production, SEO, etc. to small-to-medium businesses in
the New York City area. The newspaper is teaming with Hearst's LocalEdge to offer the services. Daily News CEO Bill Holiber says the paper is "delivering a digital suite of solutions with a
proven track record," while sharing the NYDN's nearly 100-year-old brand and reputation. The Daily News will add more than 50 sales reps to the new division, overseen by Michael
Flaminio, Daily News vice president of digital solutions.
