Supply-side platform (SSP) Adaptive Media on Monday announced that Sandy Grushow has joined the company as an Advisory Board member. He was recently named to the Board of Governors of the Weather Company.

Grushow currently runs a strategic advisory firm and previously served as chief content officer at MediaLink. He also spent over two decades at Fox, where he was named Chairman of Fox Television Entertainment.

"We are ecstatic to have someone with Sandy's credentials join our Advisory Board to help guide our growth in several key areas," stated Adaptive Media CEO Qayed Shareef.

Grushow said in a statement that he will help Adaptive develop "video solutions," though no specifics were given. Shareef added that the company’s goal in this department is “to target TV advertisers and content providers” looking to expand their presence in the digital ad market.
