The Wall Street Journal this week posted an article exploring the declining stock prices public ad tech companies are experiencing, including Rocket Fuel (down 57% this year), Tremor (down 27%), Criteo (13%), YuMe (28%), Millennial Media (45%), and Rubicon Project (16%). The WSJ also calls out AOL, which is down 22% so far this year “at least in part due to concerns about its ad tech business.”
The WSJ observes: “The once hot sector appears to be out of favor.”
