BuzzFeed just pulled a post critical of Dove, which just happens to be an existing brand partner. “This is a familiar story for the web giant,” Gawker writes. “The site has a documented history of disappearing less-than-positive content on behalf of [Dove parent] Unilever -- whose suite of brands have placed major ad buys on BuzzFeed.” In their defense, BuzzFeed editors say they deleted the post simply because it failed to “show not tell” to makes its point.
