Under an odd headline -- "As the Weather Cools, 10 Hot Agencies to Consider This Fall “ -- as if the weather has anything to do with the quality of an ad agency, Avi Dan, founder of agency search firm AVIDAN Strategies, has selected a list of 10 agencies he thinks are all that.

Who's on the list? You'll find the usual, in-fashion, suspects like Droga5, 72and Sunny and Deutsch but you'll also find old stalwarts like BBDO, Fallon and Grey. 

Of his selections, Dan writes, "The list is quite diverse as well despite the massive consolidation that took place in the past two decades: three agencies on the top-10 list, Anomaly, 72andSunny and CP+B are affiliated with one of the smallest holding companies, mid-size MDC. Two, Droga5 and Wieden+Kennedy are fiercely independent. Of the remaining agencies, IPG owns two, R/GA and Deutsch; WPP one, Grey; Omnicom one, BBDO; and Publicis one Fallon.”
