Havas Worldwide Tonic named Liz Kane as managing director, strategic planning. Previously, Kane was group planning director at Havas Worldwide. In her new role, she will oversee the Havas Tonic planning department and also take on direct planning responsibilities across its Genzyme MS portfolio. Kane will report to Paul Klein, managing partner, Havas Tonic. She takes on the managing director duties for Katie Rogin, who will be transitioning into a group planning director role. Prior to joining the agency, Liz had over 15 years of experience in strategic planning, brand building and relationship marketing with clients across the CPG, OTC and Rx spectrum. "Liz has impressed us with her dedication and knack for creative problem-solving time and time again, bringing a fresh perspective to each strategy she touches," said Klein. "She is a natural addition to the team and I am excited to continue breaking new ground together to grow brands across the board."
