Coletti To Oversee Alto's Clients As Group Brand Lead, Pushes 'Transformational' Work

Shannon Coletti is joining Alto as Group Brand Lead, part of the agency’s strategy for growth.

Coletti will oversee agency clients, including Upwork, an employment marketplace, and Expensify, a payment super app. In 2021, Alto handled Upwork’s global brand relaunch.

Previously, Coletti was head of accounts at New York-based Interesting Development. Prior to that, she spent five years at 72andSunny, leading accounts such as General Mills (Nature Valley, Yoplait), Trojan, ESPN and Diageo (Smirnoff). Her experience encompasses launching products to building national campaigns.

“Creativity can help solve some of the world’s biggest challenges. It takes someone like Shannon to get there, and her mind will fuel Alto’s ability to make change,” said Hannes Ciatti, Alto founder-Chief Creative Officer.

Launched just before the onset of the Covid-19 pandemic, Alto claims a 41% revenue increase in the past year and has retained all of its clients since its founding. The award-winning boutique agency has grown to 35 staffers.

Alto, which means “to stand tall” in Italian, utilizes a fully-flexible agency model that customizes teams based on each project. That template lets the agency work with the best talent worldwide.

Coletti praised Alto's “standard for creating transformational, effective work" which she said was "unlike any agency I've seen or worked with."

The agency’s client roster also includes H&M Global and Montefiore-Einstein and has created brand partnerships with cultural influencers like John Malkovich, Serena Williams, Neymar Jr, Gisele Bündchen, Ana de Armas and Trevor Noah.
