Sixty-eight percent of fashion-minded online teens ages 15 to 19 who use the Web to seek out clothes, accessories, shoes, or jewelry use search engines for research, according to a new study by Yahoo!
Search Marketing. The study--based on a study of 395 teens who identified themselves as fashion trendsetters, had shopped for clothes at least once in the last three months, and used the Web for
information about clothes and accessories--also found that, while the Internet influences teens' choices, most purchases occur at retail stores.
