Neither rain, nor snow, etc. shall keep Domino’s from delivering hot pizza to customers. Its “Plowing for Pizza” promotion will help customers get their Domino’s delivery regardless of the weather.

Beginning Dec. 4 through Jan. 21, customers can nominate their city by entering their zip code at PlowingForPizza.com. Twenty winning cities will each be awarded a $25,000 snowplow grant, totaling an overall $500,000 commitment from Domino’s.

"At Domino's we've made delivery cars with warming ovens built in, paved roads to get your pizza home hot and in perfect condition, and offered pizza insurance for when anything goes awry," said Joe Jordan, Domino's president of U.S. and global services, in a release. "To us, nothing should stand in the way of getting a delicious pizza, including snowy, cold weather. So yes—you heard it right: a pizza company is actually helping to plow roads."

Domino's will name winning towns on a rolling basis throughout the program to ensure grants are awarded during the snow season. Selected cities will be announced as soon as mid-January.

Domino’s has already begun working alongside three different municipalities to help plowing efforts this winter: Erie, Pennsylvania; Marquette, Michigan; and Manhattan, Montana.

The 20 winning communities that accept their award will not only get funds for plowing, but they will also receive a Domino's Plowing for Pizza merchandise kit, which includes such branded items as winter hats, scarves, a snow measuring stick and sign, and $200 in Domino's gift cards. The selected areas will be listed on the Plowing for Pizza website, along with featured images and footage from the plowing locations.

In 2018 Domino’s launched the similar Paving for Pizza program, where money was given to municipalities across America to repair road cracks and potholes.
