Manori Ravindran has been named London correspondent of The Ankler, effective in February. 

Ravindran has for four years served as executive editor of international and senior writer at Variety, covering all the major film festivals, including Cannes, Berlin, Venice and Toronto. She has 10 years of experience covering the film and television industries.  

In addition, The Ankler is launching a weekly newsletter from Elaine Low: Series Business. Appearing on Mondays, the newsletter for paid subscribers will cover “all things television – who’s buying, what’s selling, which pockets of the industry are thriving, and what the Great Contraction means for us all,” Low writes in the first issue.
